New 5 Questions Interview – Patrick Stevens

Patrick Stevens is a singer-songwriter and musician in Astoria NYC. Patrick has a very genuine quality, in his person and his music. He is affable and makes everyone in the room feel welcome. His singing voice can reach unique gravelly heights! The Repressions were honored and thrilled when he covered their song “We Are The Strange Ones” (find that video here on this channel) and so glad to interview him backstage at his show in February 2020. They especially like his song “Kid in the Rain!” Find him and his music here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC7ajhttps://www.facebook.com/patrickstevehttps://soundcloud.com/patrick-steven… And on instagram @patrobbery

Virtual Veggie Pride Parade NYC 2020

This festival was sadly cancelled, but the show went on, with dozens of performers, speakers and cool cats contributing. The full parade can be found in three installments on Veggie Pride Parade NYC’s new Youtube channel. Here is the sing-along video from part 2 by The Repressions:

Episode 2 – Artist Sage Cotignola

Episode 2 of Five Questions with The Repressions is on Youtube now! Sage is a wonderful artist and illustrator ~ hear her answers to our silly questions and see a few of her paintings at the end of the video.

Sage Cotignola is an artist that The Repressions greatly admire, who creates lush storytelling and emotionally evocative work in a signature style. The Repressions were so glad to attend her exhibition at Greenpoint Gallery in Brooklyn in February 2020 and get the chance for an interview. A few paintings are shown at the end of this video, but do visit her website for the full gallery~ it is a visual feast! Find and follow her!

https://www.sagecotignola.com/  @sagecotignola

Sage usually paints in gouache on watercolor paper or on wood. She revels in the over-the-top and the unusual. She’s inspired by mythology, folktales, Medieval painting, Japanese woodblock prints, and the more surprising aspects of everyday life.

Thanks to Zack Dash for filming!
