This festival was sadly cancelled, but the show went on, with dozens of performers, speakers and cool cats contributing. The full parade can be found in three installments on Veggie Pride Parade NYC’s new Youtube channel. Here is the sing-along video from part 2 by The Repressions:
The Repressions recently traveled to Florida, stood in the ocean, ate amazing vegan food in four different cities, played a few songs at Dada in DelRey, and found this very fine street art in Wynwood, Miami.
Fear is a wild instinctual safeguard, protector and burden depending on the day… We are learning to be okay with it.
This is a lovely way to connect with artists around the country, please enjoy this new offering of artists and a live acoustic performance of The Repressions song “Medicate Me.” Live premiere on Youtube Saturday January 4 at 1pm Eastern Standard Time.
The Repressions are excited to be a part of this first Virtual Open Mic, hosted by Josh of the band MEDALS IN THE CHUTE. This will feature artists from all over the country, each performing one song in one video… We look forward to hearing new sounds and reaching new musical communities!
The Repressions are honored and thrilled to be playing at The 12th Annual Veggie Pride Parade NYC! SUNDAY APRIL 14TH! Line up for the parade at 11AM at 40 Gansevoort Street. The parade will end in Union Square, and that’s where you’ll find the stage. Show starts at 1pm! Performers, speakers, vendors and amazing food, with an after party at V-Spot!
