Astoria Music Collective Song Swap
9/7/19 – This was a show arranged by Hellgate Bridge Alliance. benefiting the Westway Inn Women’s shelter. Here you see some of the the Collective, playing each other’s songs, which were randomly chosen and assigned and then practiced in secret. Round 1- each act performed their original song… Round 2 – Each act surprised someone else with a cover of their song. A great cause. a beautiful day, and an amazing community. RaR Bar Hurrah! Wednesday 9/18!
Wednesday night The Repressions join the month long music fest at RaR Bar, with Sam Rasiotis, Archduke Kong, and Famous Dave Siegel. No cover charge!Music starts at 8, The Repressions should be on around 9:30. Live Music and Giant Dinosaurs. You should be there.

The Repressions are happy to be playing in the Between Two Bridges Music Festival- a week-long showcase in six venues with over thirty different bands! Whatever style, genre, or groove of music you like, you will find it here

Make Music NY
The Repressions just got some fantastic photos by Patrick Merino, from the Make Music New York 2019 event. Thank you Patrick! How wonderful to get the band enjoying the show after their set, and The Repressions’ Prize Box in action. There are prizes for all ages at every show.
Make Music New York- Outdoor Concert
The Repressions are so very glad to be playing Make Music New York 2019, this year in Athens Square Park in Astoria, Queens, NYC, on Friday June 21. In association with Astoria Music Collective and Venus Envy Artist Coalition, this fantastic lineup will feature female musicians and female-led bands. The Repressions are scheduled for 5:30pm, but come all day for great entertainment. Free and family friendly! Poster by Caryn Cast.
