We Are The Strange Ones ~ Live at Midtown Music Moynihan Station

New YouTube video today! It’s “We Are The Strange Ones,” live, from their August Midtown Music concert at Moynihan Station (across from Madison Square Garden). It was a wonderful day with The Bumper Crop Boys and an incredible crowd. Thank you to the 34th St. Partnership, Astoria Music Collective for the opportunity to play at one of our favorite NYC buildings. Special thanks to Music Blogger and Videographer Citizenhullabaloo for the video! We love our city.

We Are The Strange Ones ~ Live at Rockwood Music Hall~ New Video

New YouTube video today! It;s “We Are The Strange Ones,” live, from their August concert at Rockwood Music Hall. It was a wonderful night with an incredible crowd.

This song is one of the most popular requests, and has been referred to as a second theme song of sorts (since there is already an official theme song.) Our society can make people feel like outsiders, simply because they care about things. If it is strange to care, that’s okay. We are strange. We’ll always care.

We Are The Strange Ones

This song has been referred to as The Repressions’ second theme song, an anthem for people who care about things, and even once, a manifesto. 😸 We are very excited to announce the official single release of We Are The Strange Ones, Saturday May 21, 2022. Patreon patrons will get a free download one week early! We will be playing a special live stream show that Saturday to celebrate, including merch giveaways.

New Video – We Are The Strange Ones (with lyrics!)

The Repressions (Barbara Dragon and Nate Lay) perform their original song WE ARE THE STRANGE ONES, acoustic and unplugged… Featuring the lyrics! Yay!
The Repressions dedicate their songs to anyone who has ever been made fun of for being, kind, smart, sensitive or ill.
Thank you for watching!
