Mental Health is so very misunderstood. In addition to the social stigma, there are rampant misconceptions about the help we seek. This song wants to let you know that you are not alone.
The Repressions are back to the in-person stage after two years of livestreaming-only, with two shows in July (7/13 and 7/30.) First up, you are invited to LIC Bar in Long Island City, Queens, an open, relaxing venue that is a constant for terrific live indie music. On Wednesday July 13th, The Repressions join Alexander Bishop (8pm) and Elliot Greer (10pm) and will take the stage at 9pm. Admission is free, feelings will be felt and there are so many songs to share!

Every time we face our truths, delightful or difficult, we start a new chapter. Here is a live performance of The Repressions new song, Again and Over. (Lyrics are in the video description!)
Life can make you feel pretty small, no matter where the calendar lands. This song is for anyone who does not feel they are meeting the strange standards adulthood.
Today is the day! Find our new single “We Are The Strange Ones” everywhere you listen to and download music!

This song has been referred to as The Repressions’ second theme song, an anthem for people who care about things, and even once, a manifesto.
We are very excited to announce the official single release of We Are The Strange Ones, Saturday May 21, 2022. Patreon patrons will get a free download one week early! We will be playing a special live stream show that Saturday to celebrate, including merch giveaways.

“Ginger Dizzy” is the official entry for NPR’s Tiny Desk Contest 2022. This contest features independent artists and gives a great showcase of musical talent, songwriting, and creative use and placement of desks!
Ginger Dizzy is about imagination~ Sometimes it’s helpful to be dreamy and hazy, even while you are sad. Thank you for watching!
