The Repressions are grateful to have played so many live shows in 2019, including the NYC Veggie Pride Parade in Union Square and Kingston Animalia Concert at BSP Kingston! Thank you to these terrific New York venues and events: The Local, Espresso 77, East Village Social, Irish Whiskey Bar, Union Square Park, Make Music New York, Jack Jones, Dolphin Bookshop & Cafe, Belvedere, LIC Bar, Kumon Awards Ceremony, Athens Square Park, RaR Bar, Shore Fest, Uke Hut, BSP Kingston, The Way Station, The Quays, Shillelagh Tavern, The Mad Donkey, and Marine Terrace. How cool and fine it was to play the new and dreamier and softer songs, the forest music of The Repressions… How lovely cool it was to meet new friends and hear new music from Gary D and Chloe’s Touch… Thank you to everyone who came out!
The Repressions are always working on new songs, and want to use this showcase to share some new, some newer, some softer and dreamier songs such as Starpool, From The Blue Green Sea, Quiet Solitude and Starlight Golfcourse. The showcase is hosted by the talented Jimmy Artache and promises to feature other cool local artists. No cover charge, just wild and soft music right near the 30th Avenue Subway stop in glorious Astoria. Hope to see you there!

What an incredible weekend…. nearly too much to report about this huge event and show at BSP Kingston! Thank you to Rebecca Moore, Hudson Valley Vegfest and all of the incredible volunteers! If you were not able to go this year, start planning for the 2020 fest now!
The Repressions were already fans of Kiirstin Marilyn, Luis Mojica, Amelia Rose Allen, Kneel Cohn, Cyndi Washburn, Bobby Belfry, and Candle Hoax, and then got to share the stage with them last weekend, all in support of The Institute for Animal Happiness! Amazing!
