Lift Your Head Up
This Saturday, March 25, Barbara Dragun of The Repressions is playing a show with her wonderful musician friends, opening for The Greenstreets! The talented superheroes will be joining her onstage with new original songs and cool covers featuring the xylophone… and it is confirmed that Ben Absurdo will be jumping into the fray as well… So, that’s a little Repressions and a whole lot of fun! Free show… hope to see you there!
While The Repressions are preparing to finally record their full length album, where can you find a lot of their music? For now… this playlist of mostly live videos… Not quite all of the songs but a good deal.. plus two strange cover songs. Thank you for listening.
Trauma changes us fundamentally. We live with it, we adjust, adapt, we carry on and often think we have contained it. It is the ultimate trickster, however, and can so surprise-hello you just when you think you have put it away. .. and so we dress it up, we dress it over…
If you or someone you know is dealing with trauma or PTSD, The Repressions understand and dedicate this song to you.
The Repressions are looking forward to the Weirdo Wonderland tonight. Hope to see you at The Quays!
