Live music from vegan musicians The Repressions Janani Venkaratamanan — A foodservice professional and grassroots activist who’s been volunteering with The Humane League and other organizations since 2022. Janani is passionate about corporate campaigns and legislative advocacy, and is on a mission to grow the animal rights volunteer base right here in NYC. Diana The Vegan — Works with a local dog rescue organization and moonlights as a vegan comedian! Come for the animal advocacy, stay for the laughs. Felicitas Oefelein — Will share her experience with cat fostering and the crucial practice of trap & release. Mian Osumi with Voters For Animal Rights will share about building political power for animals. Come learn how the ballot box can be a powerful tool for animal protection!
