Oh my god we’re back again

The Repressions are back to the in-person stage after two years of livestreaming-only, with two shows in July (7/13 and 7/30.) First up, you are invited to LIC Bar in Long Island City, Queens, an open, relaxing venue that is a constant for terrific live indie music. On Wednesday July 13th, The Repressions join Alexander Bishop (8pm) and Elliot Greer (10pm) and will take the stage at 9pm. Admission is free, feelings will be felt and there are so many songs to share!

We Are The Strange Ones

This song has been referred to as The Repressions’ second theme song, an anthem for people who care about things, and even once, a manifesto. 😸 We are very excited to announce the official single release of We Are The Strange Ones, Saturday May 21, 2022. Patreon patrons will get a free download one week early! We will be playing a special live stream show that Saturday to celebrate, including merch giveaways.

Twitchy Tuesday!

The Repressions are adding another live stream music show to their Twitch schedule! They will now be performing live every Tuesday night in addition to Fridays, and the bi-monthly Wednesday evening Nate solo shows. Please follow the band on their Twitch channel to be notified for any other impromptu streams, join the live chat, say hello and connect, it is quite fun!

GHOST WALK ~ New song and video

When we are in deep despair, walking through the world around us can be a dissociative experience, looking at others who seem “normal” as though they exist in some other realm, where doing everyday activities and enjoying life is no challenge. Depression, and states of feeling outside of the conventional society, can make us feel as though we are only floating through the traditional world, unseen.

This new video on Youtube today features Barbara Dragon performing The Repressions original song “Ghost Walk” and hoping very much that it makes someone out there feel understood, and not alone.
