With a stellar lineup of artists and music, a music video premiere, and coffee at the center, we’re roasting up an awesome evening to remember. Chill, sip an espresso (or tea if that’s your jam), chat, and celebrate the fresh sounds of “Smell the Coffee” with fellow fans. August is full of a variety of Repressions’ shows, live in NYC and live streaming worldwide. It’s a hot time, summer in the city!
Next weekend is packed with Friday, Saturday, Sunday Shows of all styles!
FRIDAY AUGUST 8 – 5:30 pm – The Repressions are going to bring in the weekend with the casual afternoon Window Series at Shill Tavern. How casual can The Repressions be? That’s a challenge. The music will be dreamy and there will no cover. Cozy on up to the window and start the weekend with drink specials and live music!
SATURDAY AUGUST 9 – 2 pm – The Repressions are especially thrilled to be playing with The Bumper Crop Boys at Farley Steps, on Saturday August 9th. This is a free, all ages outdoor show at the historic Farley Building, now Moynihan Train Station in NYC, with the 34th Street Partnership in association with Astoria Music Collective. Barbara has always loved this building, and had no idea she would play a show there someday.
SUNDAY AUGUST 10 – 12:30 pm – The Repressions will be joining Chaos Pixie, They/Them, Natalie Asport, Carissa Johnson and more to play a free, all ages concert on Sunday August 10th at Astoria Open Streets in Queens NYC.
TUESDAY AUGUST 19 – 7 pm – The Repressions join Phil Robinson and Jason Vitelli for the Roomful of Sky Songwriter Stream. This concert will be livestreamed simultaneously on the Roomful of Sky Music’s YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook channels.

The Repressions are back live, perforning a short set with Plant Powered Disruptors at Urban Vegan Roots on Wednesday March 19th at 6:30. This show is celebrating Women’s History Month with a vegan vibes concert. Amazing musicians and other performers join us, Big Mama, Natalie Asport, Kiirstin Marilyn, and the debut performance of new vegan band 3gan! Don’t miss out on the chance to network with cool folks while enjoying delicious food and drinks listening to some awesome music.

The first OG Songwriter’s Showcase went so well, the Repressions are going to do it again!
Join The Repressions for the March 19th show at The Organic Grill, with talented artists Kiisrtin Marilyn and Rick Rocker!
Kiirstin Marilyn (she/her) is a singer-songwriter, actor and activist.
She has appeared on USA Network’s, Mr. Robot, Starz’ Hightown, and will soon be seen on season 2 of Peacock TV’s Dr. Death. Kiirstin is co-creator of the sketch comedy duo, Goddamn Vegan S.O.B.s, and her music can be found on all major streaming platforms. The Queens of Chaos show was a smash!
Thank you to Chaos Pixie for organizing the event, and playing that high energy music, along with cool and soulful artists Carissa Johnson and Step Neck! There were two extra crowds at the venue from earlier in the day that stayed for the show~ and The Repressions would like to think that their cover of the Pokemon theme song helped bring everyone together. It was a raucous night of inclusion, community and music!
