The world at large puts many hats, labels, and behaviors upon us that may not align with who we really are, and the parts of ourselves that we know, deeply, and without pretense. Each Time You Go Away is a song about going away from, and trying to get back to, your true self.

Oh goodness! The Repressions are featured in the “best desks” video for the NPR contest! While the tour is not happening this year of course, this little bit of light is very welcome. It’s a very nice video, lots of creativity on display and a lovely way to showcase and support independent artists, on the NPR YouTube channel.
