Oh goodness! The Repressions are featured in the “best desks” video for the NPR contest! While the tour is not happening this year of course, this little bit of light is very welcome. It’s a very nice video, lots of creativity on display and a lovely way to showcase and support independent artists, on the NPR YouTube channel. And of course, our song and video with the now-famous desk can be found on our own YouTube channel.) #tinysurprise
Enchantment is a part of nature, and if you cannot be in nature, you must create your own. This song, written by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez for the movie Frozen II, is very inspiring to The Repressions.
Patrick Stevens is a singer-songwriter and musician in Astoria NYC. Patrick has a very genuine quality, in his person and his music. He is affable and makes everyone in the room feel welcome. His singing voice can reach unique gravelly heights! The Repressions were honored and thrilled when he covered their song “We Are The Strange Ones” (find that video here on this channel) and so glad to interview him backstage at his show in February 2020. The Repressions recently traveled to Florida, stood in the ocean, ate amazing vegan food in four different cities, played a few songs at Dada in DelRey, and found this very fine street art in Wynwood, Miami.
Fear is a wild instinctual safeguard, protector and burden depending on the day… We are learning to be okay with it.
