This Friday is going to be very special… The Dolphin Bookshop has a magic that surrounds you before you realize it. The Repressions will play in the stage/ seating/cafe area, with a beautiful bookshop to the right, more books and toys to the left, original art and color all around… It is not just “one” kind of place, and therefore inspiring and imperceptibly comfortable. No cover charge and all ages are welcome… The music begins at 7pm!
Art is completely unpredictable… and also requires a lot of careful planning and organization… So here have the next four invites now, we cannot wait to see you at these shows!

How cool and fine it was to play the new and dreamier and softer songs, the forest music of The Repressions… How lovely cool it was to meet new friends and hear new music from Gary D and Chloe’s Touch… Thank you to everyone who came out!
Just one day away! This weekend long festival is going to be full of food and classes and art and music and ethical vendors and all to help animals! These are the songs The Repressions are excited to play:
This was a special show, with a very fun and appreciative audience. Uke Hut by day is NYC’s first and only ukulele shop, and then is transformed into a welcoming theatrical experience. There are featured performers and then a very energetic open mic to follow, hosted by the talented Andrew Swackhammer and Kristin Dausch. The Repressions featured on October 13th with Victoria Langford and Alexandra James. Truly a fine evening with an excellent audience!
A beautiful day outdoors with the whole park and the water and the shore and an amazing crowd and fabulous sound crew! Thank you to Astoria Park Alliance for a wonderful show!
Special thanks to fellow performer and rock-harpist Tracey Horst
Sunday October 13 is the perfect day for Show and Tell! The Repressions are playing this very fun event at NYC’s first and only Ukelele shop, Uke Hut! 36-01 36th Ave, Long Island City, NY 11106.
