New Discord Server

The Repressions are slightly late to the Discord party, but our friends on Twitch are showing us the beauty of this extra spot. This will be another place to get news about all of the music and shows, share your own news, meet fans and friends and lots of other talented musicians. See you there!

DISCORD

We Are The Strange Ones

This song has been referred to as The Repressions’ second theme song, an anthem for people who care about things, and even once, a manifesto. 😸 We are very excited to announce the official single release of We Are The Strange Ones, Saturday May 21, 2022. Patreon patrons will get a free download one week early! We will be playing a special live stream show that Saturday to celebrate, including merch giveaways.

A feature on the Vegan Music Makers channel!

Just over a year ago, two talented and compassionate music makers, Geno Maurillo and Michael Blow, founded an online group of vegan musicians, singers, songwriters, and videographers who are also vegan. The group quickly grew into hundreds of talented people from around the world, and now they have started their own YouTube channel to showcase these artists.

The Vegan Music Makers, in their words, “come from a love-based approach in hopes of helping to positively evolve the planet.” That means every video on this channel is by an artist who truly cares about animals, the environment and people, and they are living according to their values. It is wonderful company to keep, and The Repressions are very proud to be one of the first featured videos!

Visit the page to hear more from Geno Maurillo, David Giardina, Sophia Fletcher, Joe Deere and much more!

New Video – We Are The Strange Ones

So come on kids paint the Strange One’s spackle, shake off your shackle, don’t give your demographic to the cruel and needy greed, don’t let them feed, steer them to their knees… Until we rearrange let’s force the change, make their savage selfishness seem so strange… We Are The Strange Ones

A bit blurry (let’s call it artistic) but here is the newer version of this song, with the wonderful addition of Nate Lay on guitar and vocals…
