Bright Lights, and A Wild New Year! For the past two years Nate and Barbara celebrated New Year’s Eve with merriment and music, and a video for their song Bright Lights. This year features a performance of their song from their live stream show, the nature of live art made possible by the wildness of technology.

Ophelia’s Song means so much to The Repressions. This song is inspired by literary characters who meet a tragic end, and imagines offering them compassion, in order to find their own self-worth. We have the strength to be our own shelter. and to pull ourselves out of the darkest water.

Just over a year ago, two talented and compassionate music makers, Geno Maurillo and Michael Blow, founded an online group of vegan musicians, singers, songwriters, and videographers who are also vegan. The group quickly grew into hundreds of talented people from around the world, and now they have started their own YouTube channel to showcase these artists.
The Vegan Music Makers, in their words, “come from a love-based approach in hopes of helping to positively evolve the planet.” That means every video on this channel is by an artist who truly cares about animals, the environment and people, and they are living according to their values. It is wonderful company to keep, and The Repressions are very proud to be one of the first featured videos!

When Nate played solo gigs, his Radiohead covers were strongly requested, even earning him the nickname “Nateohead” in the local music scene. His vocal range and love for the songs are so apparent, that the tribute must be made. Here is a new video from the 10/31/20 Twitch live stream show, of Knight Nate covering “All I Need.”
Many thanks to everyone who joined the Halloween live stream shows on Youtube and Twitch! Knight Nate and Lady Barbara are very grateful that they can still dress up and play, and there is only more to come!
