Art is completely unpredictable… and also requires a lot of careful planning and organization… So here have the next four invites now, we cannot wait to see you at these shows!

Folk Punk Show! 1/16
Folk-punk is a term that we hear often to describe the band, and we say that makes as much sense as all of the the genres we jump to. We’ll be playing with cool cats Sam Rasiotis and JW Farrell next week, who both bring the noise and passion, and so The Repressions will be dedicating this set to the faster, rambunctious songs. Jump with us!

New Year, New Bright Lights Video
Last year Nate and Barbara celebrated New Year’s Eve with merriment and music, and a video for their song Bright Lights. They decided to make this a tradition, and this year the lyrics are on screen. Bright Lights is a journey of love and change, reconciling our natural selves in the modern world, and leaping into your life even when you cannot see.
Happy New Year Friends. Thank you for being here.

What’s To Be Expected of The Wild – New lyric video
Human. Nature.
Do our instincts work against our growth? Why do we act out in wildness while we further ourselves from the natural world?
Tonight on Youtube we have a lyric video for the song “What’s To Be Expected of the Wild,” performed unplugged at Repressions’ Castle.
New Memes, Artwork & Comics for You
The Repressions Castle, to the mortal eye may look like a tiny NYC apartment, but it is a one stop art house… too bad the ideas come faster than the time it takes to finish them. Enjoy some new memes, comics and song lyric illustrations…
