Miguel Hernandez is the founder and solo art machine behind Astoria Music Collective. Miguel has fallen ill and the community is coming together to help him and his family come through. Like the song says, Miguel loves everybody, genuinely, and is just the coolest, sweetest person, aside from all of the support and hard work he does on behalf of artists. We all love Miguel, and we all have a story about something wonderful he did for us. Give at this link if you can, GO FUNDE ME for Miguel or attend one of the live fundraising shows all month. There are cool raffles and great performances awaiting you.
The Repressions will be dedicating their Tuesday March 12 Twitch show to Miguel. Follow Astoria Music Collective for the details on amazing music, community, and support. We all love that guy.

This is a fun, colorful, in depth interview with many love songs. Thanks so much to the amazing hosts Philly and Dashita, and the crew at Manhattan News Network!
The Repressions were very honored to be featured on the SO YEA Podcast, hosted by hip-hop artist AGO! It was a pleasant conversation, with an affable host, in a cool setting, with a giant giraffe named Esperanza. Check it out here, and give AGO a follow for more!

Saffy the Cat has added her unique musical talent to The Repressions live performance of “Quiet Solitude,” during their November 21,2023 livestream show on Twitch. While extemporaneous, the band knew it was wise to let her take lead on keyboard. Fans said they appreciated the dark disonance and extreme cuteness that she added.
Saffy likes being part of the band, and showing the audience how to get attention. She received many pets after the performance, as did her sister Tira. The Repressions are very grateful that Saffy decided to jump in on the song. You can watch the full performance on YouTube today.
New YouTube video today! The Repressions cover “Shelter From the Storm” by Bob Dylan, live on Twitch, with a faster tempo and some keyboard improvisation. Requests can really keep a musician on the job! You can make requests twice a week on Twitch.
Shelter From the Storm can be found on Bob Dylan’s tremendous 1975 album, “Blood On The Tracks.” Both Nate and Barbara were big fans of this album long before they met. 😊
