The Repressions’ new song “Each Time You Go Away” is the official entry for NPR’s Tiny Desk Contest 2024! This contest features independent artists and is a splendid showcase of songwriting and desks! A new tiny desk and all of the previous customized tiny desks can be found in the video
In life we try on many hats, as we should, to figure out who we are. The world at large puts many hats, labels, and behaviors upon us that may not align with who we really are, and the parts of ourselves that we know, deeply, and without pretense. Each Time You Go Away is a song about going away from, and trying to get back to, your true self.

The Repressions were thrilled to contribute vocals to the video game soundtrack for Gorilla Tag . They are officially featured on the latest music release AVAST by Stunshine Music and David Anderson Kirk and featuring Jaguar Jen. You can find the track here, when you’re not hearing it in game.
This new single is the first that has been entered in the “Rock”category, due to the heavier use of electric guitar. Just An Animal is a song with a message, but a message you can rock out to!
